Moalboal is about 89 km away from Cebu City. It is a peninsula bordered to the west by Tañon Strait. Panagsama Beach, along strip for many beach resorts and dive shops, offers a stimulating variety of coral life. From Ronda Bay to Tuble Reef, thse are favorite snorkeling sites due to relatively shallow depths and moderate currents. Fna corals, sponges, crinoids, shells and schools of reff fishes are abundant. At the south end of the beach called Tongo Point is where you can find caves or crevices and occasional sharks down 30 meters deep. Further south, approximately 45 minutes away by boat is nown as Lambug. Barracudas, Manta Rays, Tuna nd Sharks are just a few of the many sea creatures gliding underwater.

Situated about 2km off the coast of Moalboal is known as the Pescador Island. It offers the most diverse marine life in this town. Coral formations in shallow areas are striking. Around 25 meters deep, divers can traverse the enchanting arch nown as the Cathedral. At the deeper depths, white-tipped and hammerhead sharks even tiger and thresher shars make periodic appearances.
